Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: This Road Runner is one bad ride! Factory RM21 Road
Runner! Fuel injected 5.7L Hemi V8, 4-wheel discs, rack and pinion,
Perfect Restomod for the open road!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Plymouth is smooth and straight,
with all those crisp Road Runner body lines showing nicely. Though
it may be a restomod, this car has retained all the classic Mopar
design elements that made the Road Runner what it was.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The silver metallic paint is in great
condition, and is accented perfectly by the blackout hood. Overall,
there are few imperfections to be found, as to be expected for a
build of this quality.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: As subtle as the exterior appearance
is, the interior is where this car goes full restomod. The front
power leather Cadillac bucket seats are a great choice, and fit the
car both aesthetically and physically. Power front windows, a full
length center console with front and rear cupholders, and
touch-screen stereo are also nice "creature comforts" equipped on
this Road Runner. The aftermarket gauges complete with accurate
readings from the Hemi's computer are a nice touch, and the
aftermarket tilt column and steering wheel finish things off
nicely! The interior is in great condition, and just like the
exterior is showing minimal wear.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: There is almost too much to list about this
Road Runner! Seriously; this is a build that no one else is doing.
Under the hood is a Chrysler 5.7L Hemi V8 complete with A/C and
factory fuel injection. Pulled from a Chrysler 300, the mileage of
38,222 displayed on the digital odometer is the accurate mileage of
the engine. The Hemi is a unique and excellent choice for power,
hooked up to one of the strongest automatic transmissions Chrysler
ever made: the 727. However, this one also has been equipped with
an overdrive to enjoy it on the highway. Power meets the road by
way of a Chrysler 8 rear end and 17" wheels. Last but not least,
nothing could compliment the sound of the Hemi more than the
headers and Pypes crossover and dual chambered mufflers. Built to
be a cruiser, this Plymouth is a blast!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The uniqueness of a restomod
Plymouth with a modern Chrysler engine under the hood!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you are looking for a highly
original, documented, textbook-restored Road Runner, this is not
it.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? There are presently no door keys for this
car.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This is the car for the
enthusiast that is looking for a classic Mopar that they can just
hop in and fire up!
