2012 Audi A5 Premium Plus - Rebuilt Title - 2.0L I4 - Navigation -
Heated Seats (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 2012
Audi A5 on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's
possible that you've only seen some of our many photographs of the
car due to third-party website limitations. To be sure you access
all the more than 155 photographs, as well as a short start-up and
walk-around video, and a link to the Audi A5's Carfax history
report, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) In
October of 2012, no fewer than four Autoweek professionals reviewed
the 2012 Audi A5 2.0-liter TSI. Here's a snippet from each one of
them, unanimous in their praise for one of Audi's most beautifully
designed cars: Associate editor Jake Lingeman: I can't say enough
about this engine with its power and fuel economy. News editor Greg
Migliore: The reflexes and the looks are excellent, and the price
is reasonable. Executive editor Bob Gritzinger: I enjoyed a brisk
commute home from the office, which allowed plenty of time to
sample the car's sporty flavor, flawless powertrain... and perfect
driving position. And finally, Road test editor, Jonathan Wong: ...
I would still take the Audi A5 over the newer Mercedes C250 coupe.
Offered here is a 2012 Audi A5 Quattro Coupe in Brilliant Black
over Cinnamon Brown. The A5 currently shows 63,308 miles, or just
over 7,000 miles per-year since it was delivered new at McGrath
Audi in Glenview, Illinois. Due to an accident in 2020 involving
impact to both sides of the car with side-impact airbag deployment,
a decision was made to fully correct the damage and accept a
rebuilt title, rather than writing the car off. Close inspection
shows literally no sign of damage or repair remaining. The Audi's
original window sticker listing all its standard and optional
equipment is included in the sale and pictured in the accompanying
photo gallery. The exterior Brilliant Black non-metallic finish
shows even application and excellent gloss across the coupe's
flowing body. Panel fit and alignment is correct without exception.
No body damage can be seen anywhere. (To best assess the quality of
the paint and trim finishes, be sure to view the close-up
photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) Cabin glass
and lighting lenses are clear and unmarred. Tastefully limited
factory badging-including the front-grille and rear-deck 4-ring
emblems, the A5 model designation on the left rear, and 2.0T
quattro engine designation on the right-remains in place and
properly mounted. Original 18-inch, 10-spoke, V-design wheels with
4-ring center caps are mounted with Sumitomo® 245/40 all-season
tires. Light wheel rash is noted on the two right-side-mounted
wheels. The car's Cinnamon Brown interior with black trim and
dark-walnut wood inlays beautifully demonstrates why Audi enjoys an
unparalleled reputation for interior design aesthetics, superb
materials, and build quality. The front (power-operated and heated)
buckets and rear bench seats, upholstered in Cinnamon Brown
optional Milano leather, evoke an upscale gentlemen's club vibe.
Door trim incorporates, black hard plastic, wood inlays, brushed
metal, and leather. Black carpeting covers the cabin floors with
all-weather mats for added protection. The 4-ring-branded black
steering wheel with leather-covered rim frames the driver-oriented
instrument cluster. Instrument lenses are clear and graphic
markings are crisp. The center stack includes (top-to-bottom) the
digital infotainment/navigation screen, HVAC vents, Audi
multi-media interface, and climate controls. The wood-trimmed
console hosts the shifter for the 8-speed Tiptronic® shiftable
automatic transmission, Audi's MMI® controls, and a leather armrest
with cupholders below. Throughout the cabin, all surfaces retain a
near-original condition, unworn and free of wear. The car's trunk
is equally well-preserved with a factory-supplied all-weather
rubber floor cover.
