(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 1995 Jeep Wrangler
YJ on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's
possible that you've only seen some of our many photographs of the
Jeep due to third-party website limitations. To be sure you access
all the more than 125 photographs, as well as a short start-up and
walk-around video, and a link to the Jeep's Carfax history report,

imagine Jack Palance in an ornery mood, then you get the idea
behind the Jeep Wrangler. NewCarTestDrives.com, October 1999 The
website summarized: In the end, the Wrangler scores points because
it bears the Jeep name and it offers a certain exclusivity. In
fact, many Wrangler wranglers think this is the only real Jeep. It
also succeeds because it has no real competitors. Smaller
sport/utilities such as the Suzuki Samurai, Geo Tracker, Suzuki
Sidekick and Isuzu Amigo don't measure up to the Wrangler's range
of capabilities. And the Land Rover Defender 90, which does measure
up, costs about twice as much. Offered here is a substantially
upgraded and lifted 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ in metallic blue under a
black fabric top. Showing just 1,808 miles since its full
restoration, the Wrangler's Carfax history includes a single
accident 21 years ago, with whatever damage long since fully
corrected with no sign remaining. This professionally restored Jeep
is fully ready for serious off-road adventuring. The Wrangler's
fresh metallic-blue body paint is in excellent condition across
every surface and body panel, including the flared fiberglass
fenders, louvered hood, and bespoke 7-opening grille. Matte-black,
twin tubular front bumper with integrated brush bar and tow hooks
(and matching matte-black standard rear bumper also with tow hooks)
are free of wear of damage. Chrome entry-assist steps, fender trim,
hood hold-downs, and chrome-trimmed LED taillights are in excellent
condition. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim
finishes, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in
the accompanying gallery.) The black fabric top is new and
unmarred. Cabin glass and lighting lenses are clear and uncracked.
Plastic side and rear windows are clear as well. Mickey Thompson®
16-inch chrome, 8-hole wheels in excellent condition are freshly
mounted with Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ LT375/60 tires. Inside, the
black-and-blue color theme continues along with more evidence of
the Wrangler's professional upgrading. Twin R-1® racing bucket
seats with 5-point Sparco® racing harnesses are upholstered in blue
fabric (slightly worn on the driver's seat). The stock rear bench
seat is upholstered in black vinyl with Sparco safety harness. A
four-spoke sport steering wheel) blue-painted brushed-metal) wears
a Jeep Performance Parts center emblem. The Jeep features power
steering and power brakes. The standard black dashboard's
instrument cluster has been re-executed with Jegs® gauges including
tachometer, speedometer, fuel-level, oil-pressure, water
temperature, and alternator output gauges added and arrayed
horizontally. The T-shifter for the 350 Turbo automatic
transmission is floor-mounted. An RCI® racing fuel cell is
floor-mounted behind the rear seat, and a full-cabin roll cage is
installed. Under the hood, the 383-cubic-inch, 429-horsepower V8
(with electronic fuel injection and a chrome, open-sided
air-cleaner cover) is properly fitted in a clean, well-organized
engine bay. Twin air-suspension components mounted on either side
of the engine and an MSD® 6EFI ignition-control box are visual
focal points. Viewed from below, the extensive lifted
air-suspension components, blue coil-over shocks, reinforced frame,
