2012 Winding Road's high opinion of the 2013 Porsche Boxster put it
this way: So, to summarize the story so far, the new Boxster
retains the superb handling of prior editions while improving the
looks, the ride, the quietness and the power of the car. Each of
these latter improvements, while evolutionary, manages in our view
to cross a threshold so that it is hard to find fault with the car.
That isn't a phrase we've used with other cars priced in or even
above this range. So we could say, value included, the Boxster is
the best driver's car in the world. (Full article at:

) Offered here is an example of that best driver's car in the
world, a 2013 Porsche Boxster in triple-black: black (code A1)
exterior paint, black interior upholstery, under a black,
power-operated convertible top. Manufactured in Germany on
September 14, 2012, the car's odometer currently shows 70,189
miles, or approximately 8,775 miles per-year on average since new.
The only hiccup on its Carfax history was a minor cosmetic-damage
incident five years ago when the driver's door was struck while
parked. Any resultant damage has long since been fully repaired
with no sign of it remaining. Courtesy of VINanalytics, the

retains a near-showroom-new appearance. Black is one of Porsche's
longest-running colors, and the company's highly regarded
paint-application technological expertise is clearly in evidence
here. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim finishes,
be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in the
accompanying gallery.) It's no wonder this third-generation
redesign was so well-received. Design touches like the center-exit
exhaust, rear spoiler integrated into the taillights, more
attractive front lighting cluster, and improved-design roll bars
(with integrated rear windscreen) all helped appearance while
remaining true to the Porsche DNA. The car's entire body-including
lower-front and rear panels-is free of any noteworthy damage or
defect. The fabric convertible top is similarly undamaged. Lighting
lenses and cabin glass show no cracks, fading, or other flaws.
Factory 19-inch wheels (showcasing Porsche-branded brake calipers
and drilled rotors) with colored Porsche center caps are mounted
with Pirelli® PZero 235/40 performance tires. The Boxster's
interior is as well-kept as the remainder of the car. Black leather
seat upholstery and door-trim surfaces show no signs of wear,
damage, or inconsiderate use. Black carpeting, protected by
Porsche-embroidered carpet mats, is in excellent condition. Even
the step-over, lower-door sills are as-new, clear evidence of
meticulous owner care. The sport-type steering
