Vehicle Description
This 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass is a terrific mix of vintage and new.
After all, you have a distinctive Holiday Hardtop look and the
factory-correct full blue style. But there's also extra V8 power
under the hood to deliver the solid cruiser you want a classic Olds
to be.
This Cutlass might have been intermediate-sized, but it was built
to own the road. The extra-wide grille, spaced-out headlights, and
extended fender tips front and rear make this one imposing figure.
It looks like a true classic, and the full presentation backs this
feeling up. You'll see touches of patina on the brightwork and the
kind of finish that isn't afraid to hit the boulevard. Some people
may use the value price to reinvest for improvements, but from day
one, this is the right kind of car that will appeal to those who
drive their classics. The paint still has the kind of gloss that
will get you respect in-between the stoplights. And features like
the large dual exhaust tips and upgraded Olds Super Stock III wheel
with raised white letter tires give it an awesome style you'll want
to take out on the road.
The full blue appearance continues inside. It's a very vintage set
up with everything from the working dome lights to the AM radio
that's still there for display. As a true cruiser-style machine,
there's plenty of room for family and friends - but the main focus
is on the driver. That's why you have front bucket seats with
comfortable cloth covers (the blue vinyl underneath remains quite
complete.) There's a center console with a floor shifter, a classic
thin/grippy three-spoke steering wheel, and a well-placed auxiliary
gauge trio under the dash.
Under the hood is the golden glowing block of a proper Oldsmobile
V8. While the color is correct for the motor, it actually has been
replaced with a later/larger 350 cubic-inch unit. It also has a
full Edelbrock suite with a four-barrel carburetor, Performer RPM
intake, polished valve covers, and a matching air grabber. The
result is a strong-running coupe that's great for driving. In fact,
it feels quite nice out on the road thanks to a smooth-shifting
three-speed automatic transmission. Add in power steering, power
brakes, boxed rear trailing arms, and wide BF Goodrich T/A tires,
and it's always an easy choice to take this one out for a
drive.
This Cutlass coupe is a distinct hardtop classic with plenty of V8
power and a value price. So you know you don't want to let this one
