as it shows.

hardtops, 2,485 came with the 351-4V V8 engines, 260 of these had
the 4-speed, 5 of them painted Light Yellow Gold with Medium Ginger
Leather Bucket Seats, 3 equipped with the AM/8-Track Stereo Radios,
2 with air conditioning, and 1 produced with a Ginger Vinyl Roof.
Our Vin #3F93Q544811 is that Cougar. One-Of-One!
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood is Ford's famous 351-4V cubic-inch V8 engine that
looks terrific and as new with the blue painted engine, intake, air
cleaner assembly, and valve covers, air conditioning, and all the
rest of the factory looking accessories as well as sitting in a
restored, painted, detailed, and clean engine compartment.
The V8 inhales deeply with the four-barrel carburetor out the
factory cast iron exhaust headers and the dual exhaust system and
it fires up easily, idles smoothly, runs strong, and drives
It has great drivability with the 4-speed manual transmission,
power steering, power brakes, BF Goodrich Radial TA tires mounted
on the great looking mag wheels.
The ginger interior features the restored factory high-back leather
bucket seats with the Cougar logo embossed in them, matching ginger
rear seat, carpet, headliner, and dash all have a like-new
There are great vintage details, including the wood-like trim,
center console housing the 4-speed shifter and clock, full round
gauge package with large speedo and tach, AM/8-Track Stereo Radio,
air conditioning, floor mats, great door panels and headliner.
Our Cougar has been repainted and is now a triple-black 1970s
The paint is stunning as is the bright work, angular hood leading
to the waterfall grille, shining chrome bumpers, the flying
buttress c-pillar, premium black vinyl half-roof.
The doors shut solid; the body is straight, and the gaps are even.
These Cougars not only have a more luxurious appearance but a
muscle car attitude with the mag wheels, hardtop profile, and large
dual exhaust tips.
