For Sale: 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air is EVERYTHING you want. The exterior has a deep shine, and the interior has great upgrades like A/C. Then you peek under the hood to see a big 502 V8 with a triple deuce setup. And this big power machine even has full suspension upgrades and four-wheel disc brakes to handle it. Oh yes, this is EVERYTHING.

The '58 Bel Air will always look awesome dressed in black. It's formal, imposing, and emphasizes the dramatic one-year-only styling. The mirror-like shine of the high-quality finish loves to highlight the curves of the sheet metal. And the way the light loves to flow almost seamlessly across the panels tells you they invested the time and money to get this right all the way down to the fundamentals. You can tell there was a small fortune getting the chrome mirror-like on places like the large bumpers, full-length trim, and all that shine drawing attention to the wraparound glass both in the front and rear. But while this has an awesomely classic style, you can also see there's something much more here. You have wide exhaust tips peeking out from the side, the stance is lowered, and those Billet Specialties wheels are a true modem upgrade. So it's obvious the big investments here also went into making a performance machine (more on that in a moment.)

Inside is a full custom interior that has a great classic style and the right well-integrated upgrades. The two rows of wide bench seats set the right look for this multi-tone gray interior. They coordinate nicely with the door panels, dash, headliner, and carpeting. A full-size Chevy like this is made to be a cruiser, and so you have upgrades like an AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette and cold-blowing air conditioning. And the driver's seat feels like a command position with a sports steering wheel, tilt column, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and a full set of digital gauges.

While the exterior and interior have a few performance cues, this coupe's full beastly nature can no longer be hidden the moment you pop the hood. Within those smooth black inner walls is a clean and mean big block package. This 502 cubic-inch crate motor has the fresh looks that is the telltale sign of a more recent and high-quality build. It has all the best go-fast goodies, like aluminum heads, an upgraded cam, and ceramic-coated Hooker headers. And we know you'll love talking about the triple set of dual-barrel carburetors that top this monster motor. Plus, it has the right supporting components, like fabricated valve covers, steel braided lines w/AN fittings, and a large aluminum radiator with a pusher fan in front. It fires up with a sweet rumble. But don't just listen to the pipes; follow their path in the undercarriage photos. There you'll see more of the exceptional clean style and expensive components. This includes tubular control arms up front, a strong four-link rear around the custom Ford 9-inch diff, and four-wheel power disc brakes.

Everything from the monstrous big block power to the sleekly dark style makes this Bel Air a distinct stunner. So if you like a well-built custom with plenty of attitude, call today!
