When a car looks this good, it's because it's a labor of love. This
1947 Ford Coupe Super Deluxe has been in the same family for a
quarter-century, and the restoration took about four years total.
In that time you got a sleek style, a custom A/C interior, upgraded
suspension, and a stout V8 heart. It all makes for the awesome kind
of custom you'd love to keep forever.
A bold shade of yellow like this is going to make people take
notice day or night. And that's fine because the quality of the
build is worth the extra time and attention. The paint not only has
a vivid color, but it's also a high-quality application. So the
sunlight loves to roll off evenly and show off the quality of the
sheet metal. And since the panels are so good, this one deletes the
side trim, moves the side mirrors, and shaves the door handles for
an extra smooth/sleek profile. It also doesn't need superfluous
brightwork, because what's there is glowing - even against the
radiant paint. It has a mirror-like presentation on the artful
grille, chrome bumpers, and polished 17-inch Billet Specialties
wheels.
The interior is a thoughtful use of space and color. After all,
black looks terrific against the yellow, and the exterior color is
on the dash just to remind you of that. You have dual bucket seats
done in supple leather, and because there's only about 1k miles on
this build, they barely look like anyone has ever sat here. Plush
carpeting, a taut headliner, a smooth dash, and custom door panels
complete this inviting total presentation. It's not just that this
is clean and complete, but also there has been extra thought that
went into the layout. This likes to be a driver's car, and so the
Billet Specialties wheels, tilt column, and classic-style VDO
gauges are really what dominates the dash. Rather than clutter it
up with a powerful stereo, it was mounted in the rear and gave you
a remote. That way you still get the best driving music, but with a
cleaner setup. There are also more cool features like the
cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, and door poppers on
your key fob.
The clean black engine bay funnels all your attention to the bright
and tidy heart in the middle. This is a 351 cubic-inch V8 built
with all the best pieces. This includes a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Ford Racing finned valve covers, and
shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust. It's also supported by an
MSD pro billet distributor, Accel high temp plug wires, and a large
aluminum radiator. The V8 fires up with an eagerness and a rumble
that makes you want to hit the road. That's why they upgraded the
suspension with tubular A-arms up front and a sway bar in the rear.
Plus, you have an automatic transmission, power front disc brakes,
new modern tires, and grippy sport tires to comfortably enjoy the
miles.
The sale comes with service manuals and photos that document the
full frame-off work that went into this Ford. This is the classic
that has a ton of comfort and charisma, so don't let this custom
coupe slip away. Call now!
