The Chevrolet C4 is one of the best Corvette values on the market today. The drivetrain, suspension and brakes of the C4 are of competition quality including forged aluminum front/rear control arms, tubular aluminum drive shafts and transverse monolith springs. This 2-owner, garage kept 1987 roadster is a nice C4 in very good original condition. The factory Bright Red finish has been well cared for and the Saddle Tan leather interior shows very little wear. This Corvette has all of the convenience features including: air conditioning (R-134), power seat, power locks, power tinted windows, tilt wheel and cruise control. It is also equipped with an AM/FM/Cassette stereo system and a manual soft-top in very good condition. Horsepower is provided by a L-98/350 motor with factory aluminum heads. As standard equipment, the '87 version of this engine utilized a Bosch Multi-Port Fuel Injection System along with a newly introduced roller cam and lifter configuration. This allowed the motor to produce 240 BHP @4000 RPM and 345 lb/ft torque. It has recently received a major service including tune-up and new ignition wires. Torque is delivered through a 4-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic gearbox to a factory differential. The chassis is equipped with power steering, 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes (w/new 11.5" rotors), new shocks and distinctive factory 16" alloy wheels.
