1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk
The 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk became known as glamorous flagship
model loved by dealerships. Studebaker dealerships saw the draw of
crowds wanting the new model. The total production of the 1959
Silver Hawk V-8's was 7,788 far below the public demand.
Rare collector car with a total of only 7,788 Silver Hawks were
produced in 1959. This car has been lovingly maintained over the

New American Racing Shelby wheels with three spinner center caps.
Nankane Sport NS-25 tires front 235/45 R17 and rear 255/40 R18 give
a modern aggressive stance and look. The red Alloy Gator's are the
cutting edge in wheel protection. Note the original steel wheels
and correct hub caps are available with new 1-inch white walls. The
wheels are an either or your choice. The race inspired dash with
tooled metal face plate really adds to the driving experience. All
gauges have a clear clean face and work as they should. The red
interior adds that extra pop to the black paint.
The overhead-valve V8 had a 259.2 cubic-inch displacement, solid
valve lifters, five main bearings delivered 180 horsepower at 4,500
RPM, bore of 3.6 in, stroke of 3.3 in, and compression of 8.8:1.
Additional optional equipment included lower compression ratios,
Twin-Traction, and an optional power kit that added a four-barrel
carburetor and dual exhaust. A Flightomatic three-speed
transmission. The Silver Hawks could really fly down the
highway!
