Vehicle Description
As you dig into the details on this 1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade, you're
going to see it's one of the most well-done all-around packages.
After all, it has V8 power, a terrific paint theme, a comfy leather
interior, and thoughtful details inside and out.
There has been plenty recently invested in this CJ to give you
style and substance. It starts with the paint. The khaki tan is the
perfect color for an adventurer, and since this is rugged liner
paint, it's genuinely ready to go on a safari. And you can really
see just how clean and comprehensive the application is when you
can even see the light paint radiating from inside the wheel wells.
The investment is not just on paint. The doors that shut solid,
clean glass, and clear lights show you the quality of the
fundamentals. Even the chrome light bezels shine beautifully. The
best shine comes from components that add to the Jeep's prowess,
like the tow hooks front & rear, upgraded 15-inch polished wheels,
and spare tire on the swing-away mount. And speaking of functions,
you have all the other beefy upgrades done in contrasting black. Up
front, you have a heavy-duty bumper with Warn winch, brush guard,
KC lights leading the way. Along the sides are the Renegade fender
flares. At the rear is a strong bumper with tow hooks and a proper
trailer hitch. The Renegade lettering, hood latches, side mirrors,
and hood stripe are done in black too. The black hardtop has been
freshly coated in Rhino liner paint so it fits in with both this
CJ's rugged look and terrific two-tone style. The result is an
attractive Jeep that also always knows how to get down to
business.
Since this one is also going to open to the world, the thoughtful
color coordination continues inside. The khaki liner paint returns
on steel essentials like the floors, dash, and roll bar. But
there's also a lot of comfort within the function. For example, the
Corbeau front bucket seats are a great upgrade for keeping you
planted, and they are also finished in supple leather. The rear
seats are upgraded to match. There's added comfort with an upgraded
AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth, new speakers, cup holders, and a
locking center console. Your driving position is a commanding one
with a grippy Jeep steering wheel, a tilt column, tall shifter, and
a full gauge package - including aux readouts and a handy tach.
Just like the rest of this build, the engine bay received nice
investments to maximize what you love the most. It has a nice look
with smooth color-matched inner walls and firewall, and some added
polish on the air grabber, valve covers, alternator, brackets, and
more. AMC/Jeep's 304 cubic-inch V8 has a long-standing tradition of
being a hardy motor, and the ultra-tidy appearance shows this is a
very fresh build. The motor has been enhanced with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. Plus, it has great
supporting components, like an MSD ignition and an Aluminum
radiator. The motor fires up readily with a nice exhaust note from
the side-exit exhaust. You are in full control of this V8 and its
soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. The torque
of the V8 goes well with the two-speed transfer case, lifted
suspension, and Falken Wildpeak A/T tires to deliver a true
go-anywhere 4x4. But with power steering, power brakes, and front
discs, the go-anywhere can also just mean an easy trip to the
grocery store.
As you look over all the pictures, you see just how much time and
money was invested in creating such an all-around awesome CJ7. So
you know this fresh build belongs in your garage. Call today!!!
