Vehicle Description
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute has striking paint and
plenty of vintage details. Of course, it's the solid big block
power under the hood that makes this a true example of an
irresistible hardtop muscle car.
This is an attractive total package, and it starts with the paint.
It's a quality application that was added later in life. Some of
the best Chevelles were Cortez Silver cars, and so this one keeps a
classic style, but it also radiates with a modern clearcoat shine.
So the sunlight loves to show off the straight sheet metal of this
coupe. Adding to the shine is the excellent brightwork you see
everywhere from the wraparound chrome bumpers to the window trim.
Plus, as a proper SS tribute, they made sure to give you all the
best pieces. The painted black stripes harmonize quite well with
the silver. And you also have the blackout grille and rear panel to
complete the dark side. The cowl induction hood, large dual exhaust
tips, and Mag-style SS wheels finish off this coupe's true
intimidation package.
The interior has also been upgraded, and now it's a muscle car
friendly black. That means a fresher style inside, but this also
makes sure to give you a proper classic feeling. That means two
wide rows of bench seats and the correct premium Malibu trim on the
upholstery and door panels. The vintage feel goes right down to the
classic Delco AM/FM radio that's still cranking out the tunes. But
an SS tribute like this also needs to be a great driver's classic.
That's why you have the three-spoke sports steering wheel, a tilt
column, under-dash auxiliary readouts, and the desirable U14 round
gauge package with large speedo and tach.
The heart of this Chevelle is a proper big block. It has a clean
style where you can see plenty of classic details. Some are
cosmetic, like the Delco battery topper. Other pieces also add
function, like the Mickey Thompson finned valve covers. And that
air grabber works with the cowl hood to inhale fresher air. Plus,
this 454 cubic-inch V8 has been upgraded with a big Holley Street
Avenger 770cfm four-barrel carburetor sitting atop a dual-plane
aluminum intake. It starts easy with a terrific big block rumble
from the dual exhaust. It feels like it wants to hit the road, and
cruising is what this one was made to do. There's a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and SS-style boxed rear trailing arms w/sway bar for an all-around
good driver.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a proper SS tribute with a
sharp-looking style and proper big block muscle. Don't miss out on
this coupe. Call today!!!
