Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu has a terrific hardtop style,
upgraded interior, and plenty of vintage appeal. But what really
makes this one special is the 430 horsepower stroker motor that
lives under the hood.
The '69 Chevelle already looked fast standing still. After all, it
has a sharply cut hardtop profile and a fastback-style rear. And
being a true Malibu, the sweeping trim down the rockers give it a
premium look. And this speedy style is only amplified further by
upgrades like the big dual exhaust tips and the polished Weld
Racing wheels with a wider rear set. The big chrome bumpers,
updated blue paint, and full badging have the right look for a
clean and complete classic that's also not afraid to have some fun
on the Saturday night asphalt.
The interior is a nice mix of vintage and upgraded. It starts with
the classic wide bench seats with a button-top detail. They could
almost pass for stock, except the cloth inserts let you know they
had a comfort upgrade. The carpeting, headliner, and dah all also
have a nice presentation from a later investment. There are
upgrades everyone can enjoy like the upgraded AM/FM stereo with aux
input. And this was a factory A/C car (it will need servicing to
function again, but any factory component comes with the sale.)
Plus, upgrades like the auxiliary gauge trio and large
column-mounted tach get you ready for something special under the
hood.
The engine bay has a powerful look and the muscle to back it up.
This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 from BluePrint engines. It
comes with a bench dyno sheet of 430 horsepower, and the consignor
states it was installed only about 2,500 miles ago. Plus, this has
plenty of the right components, like a Spectre dual plenum air
intake, Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Summit air gap
aluminum intake, cast Chevrolet valve covers, Pertronix
Flamethrower distributor, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. And
if you look at those pipes in the undercarriage photos, you'll also
notice cutouts for those times when you really want to bring the
thunder. This mighty V8 is mated to a three-speed automatic
transmission that is said to have been installed around the same
time as the new motor. So while those drag radials in the rear
remind you of the kind of power his Malibu brings to the pavement,
this is also a solid all-around built. That's why you have good
driving features like power steering, power brakes, and front
discs.
This Chevelle Malibu takes one of the most iconic hardtop muscle
car looks of the era and combines with fresh blacktop-burning
power. It makes for a terrific setup that you need to get your
hands on right now. Call today!!!
