1975 Mercedes Benz 450SL. The previous owner of 7 years was an avid Mercedes Benz collector, he did a comprehensive Cosmetic restoration on the car and rebuilt mechanicals as needed.
A complete professional repaint was performed in the original Grey- Blue Metallic color. The panels are laser straight and the car was fully sanded and buffed to a show quality finish. The door jambs are nicely detailed as well. Excellent panel fitment throughout and no evidence of any panel replacement on the car.
The interior was completely restored with new seat covers, door panels, carpet, and beautiful wood trim. The stereo was upgraded with an Alpine deck featuring Sirius XM, Uconnect, USB, and MP3. High end JL audio speakers replaced the originals. A brand new Blue Canvas soft top was installed with all new seals and weatherstripping throughout. The trunk carpets were replaced as well. A Factory hardtop is included with the car in addition to the soft top, it has been restored to match the car.
All of the exterior chrome and stainless were restored or replaced with new. all 4 rims were show chrome plated and new Uniroyal radials were fitted.
Runs fantastic and has very good power. This car is a pleasure to drive. The air conditioning system was upgraded to modern R134a refrigerant.
Needs nothing but a new owner and is ready to enjoy.
