1979 Scout II Traveler 12v Cummins Swapped The body is rough, but
definitely a project! When completed, this could be a killer daily
or an extremely capable, purpose built crawler! The engine is '97
P-Pump 12v Cummins, which is stock (just the fuel rack slid
forward). The transmission is a '95 47RH, with manual lockup and
overdrive, which shifts and drives perfectly. The axles have been
axle professionally shortened, the front being Dana 44, the rear
axle is a GM corporate 14 bolt. The transfer case is a rebuilt
NP205. The powered seats are out of a 90s Tahoe and are incredibly
comfortable. Just needs the 12v ran. The hard parts are finished
and the truck drives short distances. The linkage for the shift
lever for the transfer case needs hooked up, a front driveline
needs to be stretched (I have two donors) and there is a slight
leak from the fuel tank. I have a 30 gallon (used) tank that goes
with the truck. Fuel is ran very low in preparation to be pulled.
The body is rough and has multiple places with bondo and rust. The
front clip has been extended 2" to accommodate the long 12v
Cummins, intercooler, and fan clutch. THIS IS A PROJECT . Please
