1966 Corvette Convertible - Numbers Matching 327/300hp 4-Speed -
Now this is fun in the sun!
The C2 (1963-1967) Corvette driving experience is one that is very
unique - and anyone who has had the pleasure of sitting in that
driver's seat understands the view looking forward. The unusual
tall, sharp, fender tops are part of your perspective that only
comes with the 1963-1966 Corvette.
Here is a great opportunity to own that driving experience! Just
hitting our showroom floor is this beautiful 1966 Corvette, and one
thing that can make it better? It's a convertible! Nassau Blue
(code ""976"") is the factory color for this drop-top, and the
finish is smooth and glossy from top to bottom. Front and rear
bumpers are in excellent condition with the chrome shining like
new, and all of the brightwork looks great including the stainless
trim and emblems. The convertible top is in excellent condition
both visually and mechanically. The factory-colored black vinyl
looks practically new while the underside frame work is in perfect
working order as expected.
The interior, refinished in its factory optioned ""black"" vinyl,
looks incredible. The high wear components have been reconditioned
or replaced such as the seat covers, door panels, and complete
carpet from front to rear. The dash board and center console have
been refinished, while the gauge cluster was disassembled to make
sure each gauge was reading correctly. The center of the dash
houses the factory AM/FM radio and directly centered is the
functional factory clock. Below the dash on the driver's side are
the push/pull knobs to control the flow of fresh air into the cabin
- all in functional condition.
Power is generated by the numbers matching 327/300hp Turbo-Fire
V-8. The Corvette's light weight, combined with its high-winding
horsepower and 360 ft lbs of torque, results in a driving
experience that will put a grin on your face from ear to ear while
surprising many potential challengers. The 4-speed manual
transmission is the factory correct Muncie unit connected to the
stock independent rear differential putting the power to the stock
steel wheels and 3 spoke spinner hub caps wrapped in period correct
style Goodyear White-Walls measuring 205/75/15 on all 4
corners.
