Real Super Sport born red with red interior. Oh yeah, it has a
4-speed, power steering and power disc brakes too! Nice looking
southern car.
EXTERIOR: The panels look straight, actually everywhere I look I
don't see a ripple. No blisters, no dents, the panels line up real
nicely. It is repainted it's original Regal red. The paint is
polished like glass. Up front the bumper was rechromed, emblem is
new, it has correct T-3 headlights. The rear bumper, tail panel
trim looks good. The bumper was rechromed. The jambs are painted
slick, weather strips are replaced.
INTERIOR: It was born with a red interior too. The carpet,
upholstery, door panels, armrests, dash pad have been replaced. It
has bucket seats with a center console. It even has the correct
chrome shifter with the reverse lock out. It has the factory gauges
in the dash. It has seat belts in the front. Overall not brand new
but it is very nice.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a 396 motor, on top is an Edelbrock
intake with a dual feed Holley carb with an electric choke and HEI
ignition system. New chrome valve covers and air cleaner. There's
power steering and a new power brake system with upgraded dual
reservoir master. The engine bay is smooth, clean metal painted
satin black. The hinges are painted, it has new hood insulation.
New alternator, fan shroud, fuel pump. The washer bottle is hooked
up.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Appears to be solid metal painted gray and white
spatter finish. It has a 15 inch rally wheel with a Good Year red
line tire and a new reproduction jack assembly. The weatherstrip
and trunk mat have been replaced. Bottom of the trunk lid and the
jamb are glossy red.
UNDERSIDE: It is cleaned up very nicely underneath. The front end
components are clean and proper looking. In back the springs,
bushings and shocks look like they were replaced. It has a new dual
exhaust with flow master mufflers. The brake system has been
rebuilt. The lines, hoses and e-brake cables were replaced. it was
upgraded with disc in the front. Bottom of the motor is clean, it
has a high torque starter. The 4-speed trans and linkage look
clean. Original 12 bolt rear with 3.31 gears.
We get hardtop, not too many convertibles. If you want one it may
be awhile before we get another and I doubt it will be a red
4-speed!
