Vehicle Description
This 1966 Ford Mustang has a true speedy style on the outside, and
it has the upgraded V8 power and four-on-the-floor to back it all
up. And when you see how there have been solid investments all
around this car, you start to see a mix of performance and panache
that proves to be irresistible.
The Super White paint lives up to its name by being a more recent
application that has a quality gloss. Of course what you'll
probably notice even more are the silver stripes painted over the
top. And just in case you weren't already looking, the red decal
pinstriping it there to catch your eye. The rocker triple stripe
decals give this a full Shelby-style appearance and that's just the
beginning of the speedy look. The front end has a GT350 R inspired
wide opening in the bumper with driving lights for a sporty
display. You even have the deep chin spoiler that looks like it was
borrowed from a Boss Mustang. Plus, there are nice GT touches like
the gas cap and dual exhaust coming through the rear valance. But
while this coupe celebrates some of the best details from the pony
car's history, this custom car is its own animal, too. And you
recognize that by the tall power dome of the cowl hood, and the way
the rear fenders are flared extra wide. And the 17-inch American
Racing wheels have a cool style that fits in with the silver
touches around the car.
The interior has the clean look of a driver's car. It's a
thoughtful setup where, just like the exterior, you have a few
hints of silver/gray on the lower dash, steering column, and
thick-pile floor mats. Plus, this has the added comfort of an
armrest center console w/cup holders, and a retro-style AM/FM
digital tuner w/iPod input and upgraded speakers. The front bucket
seats and thin/grippy three-spoke steering wheel give you the right
classic driver feeling. And the auxiliary gauge trio and Hurst
shifter get you ready for something special under the hood.
Ford's 302 cubic-inch V8 is a great motor to have because it was
larger than what Ford was offering in '66. And this one has been
given solid investments to be a strong powerhouse. We have receipts
documenting new spark plugs, wires, thermostat, fuel pump,
alternator, and a Champion aluminum radiator. And it's built for
power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake,
and long tube headers feeding into the dual exhaust. Plus, the
four-speed manual transmission gives you full control over it all.
Control is a big part of this build where there was an investment
earlier this year for a new front suspension and rear leaf springs.
There's also a new brake booster and front disc brakes. Even the
grippy sport tires are only a few months old.
This is the distinct icon that's also a sharp driver. So if you're
the kind of person who likes hitting the road in a true classic,
don't miss this custom galloping pony. Call today!!!
