RARE 1964 Bonneville wagon with lots of options, PS, PB, AC, AT, power windows, power front seat, electric rear window, roof rack, and 8 lug brake drums (not original to this car I don't think) solid car originally sold and owned in Texas. I believe the under 78,000 mileage to be correct based on the condition but cannot guarantee it. The car was repainted several years ago and is still very presentable and looks nice. Most of the exterior and interior chrome and trim are in good shape. I believe the interior to be original except for the carpet.
The 389ci engine is the original and I had it rebuilt a few years ago, I would say there are maybe 2500-3000 miles since rebuild. I had the original water pump rebuilt and replaced the fuel pump and power steering pump with new and the AC pump with a reman at the time of rebuild. The transmission is not original, it has a turbo 400 installed and a new driveline.
The tires are like new and has a new 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. The brake master cylinder has been converted to a dual master cylinder for safety.
The engine compartment was stripped and repainted while the engine was out for overhaul and looks as good as it does in the pictures. The AC system was rebuilt and working great then lost a diaphragm in the suction throttling valve which is a fairly easy fix under the hood. The interior is in nice shape with no tears and the headliner looks good but it needs new wind lace around the doors. The car runs and drives well, tracks straight and has new shocks, it is coming due a brake job.
I have done quite a bit of research and have many documents and receipts relating to the history of this Cool and Rare wagon.
