This 1989 Mercedes 300SE was purchased by the current owner in May 2017. The current owner has driven the car approximately 12,000 miles. The car is in amazing original condition. Equipment includes cruise control, power sunroof, automatic climate control, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, power front headrest and 15' alloy wheels. It is offered with 2 keys, a Carfax report and a clean Kentucky title.
The Carfax lists a 'minor accident'. One of the photos shows a blue tape on the right rear quarter panel and the bumper. Another car scuffed the paint on the 1/4 and the top of the bumper. The scuff did not go down to the metal. That is what the 'minor accident' consisted of. When the repairs were being done the rear bumper had to be repainted entirely and so the front bumper was also redone to ensure a perfect match.
The body is done in 040 black over a palomino leather interior. Other than the minor accident the paint is original and in excellent condition. The Palomino upholstery is also original, including the wood trim, and also is the excellent condition, as the photos show. Photos of the upper side are included as well. Three items are inoperable: the Becker grand prix radio, the tachometer and the rear window defrost.
A car is only original once, as the ad and photos show, this is a very high quality car.
