Garage Kept Motors.) The Mitsubishi 3000GT never received the same
love of its high-end Japanese sport coupe contemporaries like the
Toyota Supra, Acura NSX, Mazda RX-7 and Nissan Skyline. That's a
shame because it's an excellent car. €" Motor Trend, 2018 Cars.com
owner reviews resulted in a 4.5-star (out of 5) overall rating for
the Mitsubishi 3000GT. Here's a representative South Carolina
review from the site: I've owned my (3000GT) since it was new in
1994. Performance and reliability have been everything I could hope
for. In spite of its age (and mine) the car still gets looks from
people as we drive by. The car has lots of gadgets including a
little television screen that reports on what the climate control
system is up to. The 6-speaker Infinity stereo system always
performs. The 6- disc CD changer works great.... The electrically
operated driver's seat provides creature comfort. The power and
acceleration are a beautiful thing. The tire tread is about a foot
wide, so it doesn't squeal around corners, and it doesn't slip in
wet weather.... It's been a great vehicle overall, and I still look
forward to driving it. Offered here is a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT in
Caracas Red over gray consigned by its original owner. The car's
odometer shows 69,889 miles, or fewer than 2,600 miles per-year on
average since new. The outstanding condition of every aspect of
this stock 3000GT is a tribute to its sole owner, who treasured the
car since the day it was first delivered. Who else keeps a car's
original factory window sticker in perfect condition? Yes, it's
included in the sale (and in the photo gallery listing all the
car's original equipment.) But for its odometer reading, this could
pass for a brand-new car. The exterior Caracas Red paint is without
obvious flaws anywhere. The finish is smooth, even, and uniformly
glossy across the entire body: from the lower-front grille, across
the hood and coupe roofline, to the rear-deck spoiler with its
integrated LED brake light. Given the car's overall lack of chrome
trim, it's a memorable look. Rear-fender and front-fascia
brake-cooling ducts, racing-style painted mirror caps and door
handles, individual headlights behind clear-plastic covers, and a
rear diffuser are all part of the car's trademark ahead of its time
appearance. Tinted cabin glass (including the rear hatch) and all
lighting lenses are clear and free of scuffs or cracks. The factory
badging-limited to just the tri-diamond Mitubishi hood and
rear-bumper insignia and the 3000GT center-rear identification-is
properly in place; the flanks of the car are free of any badging,
and with the stylized body lines, gives the sports coupe a flowing
look. Stock, 7-spoke, 16-inch alloy wheels are mounted with
Hankook® Radial Ventus K100 225/55 ultra-high-performance tires.
Inside, the well-bolstered, fold-forward, front bucket seats, and
the rear, sculpted, 2-position (50-50 foldable) bench seat are
upholstered in an attractive geometric-pattern gray cloth. The
long-wearing fabric is in excellent condition; it shows absolutely
no damage and only the barest minimum of wear from regular use
confined to the driver's seat. Stylized door-panel trim features a
matching fabric upper insert and a lower carpeted panel. The cabin
carpeting appears brand-new; front 3000GT-embroidered protective
carpet mats are in place. Under a roll-out cover, the
