Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1977 Ford F100 Ranger XLT.
Wearing older (and perhaps even original) paint and awesome retro
graphics, this well-optioned truck has a cool vintage look that can
only be attained through the passing of time. This has been a
Georgia truck for at least three decades; our earliest records show
its purchase at Arrington and Blount Ford of Lawrenceville in
1985.
Under the hood is a recently rebuilt Ford 302 V8. The rebuild was
done by the reputable Adkins Automotive Machine Shop of Athens, GA.
While the drivetrain was out of the truck, the C6 automatic
transmission was rebuilt, too. The motor starts up easily and has a
terrific growl through an aftermarket exhaust cutout. This F100 has
the gamut of factory accessories. Power steering, power brakes, and
air conditioning make this truck a great contender for daily
driving. With just over 100,000 original miles and a rebuilt
drivetrain, this truck runs and drives better than its age would
otherwise indicate.
The interior of this truck is outfitted with a headrest-equipped
bench seat out of a 1996 F150, and in place of the original radio
is a RetroSound unit with bluetooth capabilities paired with
upgraded door speakers. Under the dash is a PA routed to a speaker
in the engine bay. The original woodgrain inlaid dash shows well,
as does the factory instrument cluster. New door panels and a floor
mat complete the well appointed cabin. Storage isn't an issue
thanks to the diamond plate toolbox in the bed.
This classic Ford truck is a real head turner. It would be a great
addition at any tailgate, beach party, or campsite. Wherever this
truck takes you, a good time is sure to follow. For more
