1972 AM General M813. This is a genuine, authentic, military / army surplus 5-ton 6x6 cargo truck. I've had this truck for several years, and have spent all that time maintaining and modifying it, and it has been my baby. The engine is a fully mechanical Cummins 855ci NHC250. Tires are all in great shape, steers are practically brand new. Converted to true air brakes, instead of the original air over hydraulic brakes that the military originally had on it, so it has better stopping power. 20,000lb PTO driven front winch works just perfectly, but will need new cable (I removed the old rusty cable, but haven't put new cable on yet.) Recent services include: EVERY fluid changed - all spin on filter upgrades New front axle seals, grease, and knuckle boots Brand new custom stainless steel pick-up tube, dual fuel filter upgrade, and 100% new fuel lines Pyrometer Train horn And much more! Comes with the bows and cargo cover, which I only used for camping, and have kept stored indoors when not camping, so it isn't dry rotted or flakey. Looks brand new.
