These cars are not for the faint of heart with 725hp produced from a 5.4-liter Kenne Bell supercharged engine backed by a 6-speed manual transmission, these cars were created for the person who thought 500hp just wasn't enough. The car starts life as a customer-purchased 2009 Shelby GT500 is upgraded with a Kenne Bell supercharger helping the 5.4-liter Ford V-8 make 725 bhp, roughly 225hp more than the original car. This is backed by a 6-speed transmission with an aluminum driveshaft sending power to the 3.73 rear end. 20-inch Shelby/Alcoa wheels are mounted over Shelby/Baer 6-piston front- and 4-piston rear disc brakes, improving Ford's already excellent performance suspension. The Super Snake is readily identified by its scooped fiberglass hood, quarter window deletes, rear spoiler and badging. The car being offered for sale is finished in Ebony Clearcoat accented by a Matte Black center stripe. This color combination is complemented by a Black/Red leather interior which is upgraded with "Carroll Shelby" embroidered headrests and auxiliary gauges, the final and most important touch being the unique dash plaque with the car's special Super Snake serial number.
