Vehicle Description
A classic two-tone panel truck instantly gets you thinking about
all sorts of fun ways to enjoy a useful classic. And this 1951
Chevrolet 3100 Panel Delivery is upgraded with a fuel-injected
small block, an overdrive transmission, and a stunning power A/C
interior just to make sure it lives up to the idea of the awesome
all-around cruiser you really want.
Chevy's Advanced Design are in-demand icons with their bright Art
Deco grilles, alligator hood, two-piece windshield, and rounded
style. So it gets even better when your custom build starts with
this lineage but on a panel delivery that's rarer, more
interesting, and more versatile. This one likes to respect this
heritage while also showing off its unique style. For example, the
minty green and white two-tone is a great 1950s color combo. But
the green in the lower half also has a modern metallic element that
loves to radiate extra bright when the sunshine hits the sheet
metal. So it can really show off the curves of the fenders and
overall how well the panels fit. And while the bumpers and grille
shine beautifully, the piece of brightwork you're likely to take
note of the most are the polished Ridler wheels. They show off the
lowered suspension and give you a nice 18/20-inch front/rear sporty
stance.
Delivery vehicles were developed for utility, but this custom build
makes sure to add in plenty of luxury, too. It starts up front with
a full covering of ultra-leather. You have it on expected places,
like the well-bolstered modern bucket seats. But with the door
panels, custom center console, headliner, and even the floor all
coordinating in this saddle tan. And with less than 2,700 miles on
the build, it has the fresh look and feel of something special.
You've got all the best features, like cold-blowing air
conditioning, a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, and cup holders
that glow green to match the dash. It's built to be a good driver
with an upgraded steering wheel, tilt column, and crisp Classic
Instrument gauges. It's an overall presentation that is both always
ready to show off and comfortable for hitting the road. The same
goes for the rear. The clean cargo area follows the exterior's
green and white theme, and the tan upholstery even returns at the
rear. We love that the wood floors look vintage and can still be
used for work. After all, those rear barn doors open wide to still
swallow plenty of cargo (or your favorite tailgating supplies.)
There's more cool green to go with the tidy setup of the engine
bay. While this is a very vintage vehicle, you're looking at
fuel-injected Chevy Vortec V8 power. This 6.0-liter motor is known
for being hardy, powerful, and versatile. And they took the time to
make it look like this powerhouse has been here since day one. It's
even got all the right pieces you want, like a serpentine belt
system and a Champion aluminum radiator w/electric fan. When you
look at the undercarriage photos, you'll see an updated frame and
an S-10 independent front suspension. There's also power steering,
power brakes, front discs, and grippy ZR-rated tires. And the
four-speed automatic transmission is an overdrive unit that makes
it easy to enjoy this delivery vehicle on trips near or far.
This is a classic that will look just as good in your garage as it
would in front of your business. So we know there are plenty of
people who want it just like you. That's why you shouldn't delay,
