under current ownership. It starts up at the first turn of the key
and runs quite well. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a manual
transmission, which shifts smoothly and effortlessly through all
four gears. The steering is tight and a recent brake service has
this Beetle stopping well.
Inside and outside, this Beetle looks sharp. It has been repainted
in its original VW Blue, and its chrome bumpers shine bright, and
it received a new set of running boards in 2015. Virtually the
entire interior has been refinished. The seats have been stripped
down to the frames and rebuilt with new backing and upholstery, the
carpet, door panels, headliner, and sun visors are also new.
