Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this very desirable
two-door Sedanette (fastback). This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe
came from California and is beautifully finished in correct El
Centro Green Metallic over a beautiful stock split bench interior.
All the chrome and brightwork have been flawlessly done. The car
rides on Coker wide white walls on factory wheels with bright
center caps and trim rings.
The Series 62 is powered by its 346 CI L-head engine with a column
shifted 3-speed manual transmission. Features include Amber fog
lights, down draft carburetor, semi-floating rear axle, front coil
springs and rear leaf springs, hydraulic drum brakes. The car runs
and handles very well - tracking down the road as smoothly as you
would imagine a Cadillac would.
Perhaps one of the most influential automotive designers in history
is General Motors executive, Harley Earl. His Art Deco influence
dominated the automotive arena during the late 30's and early 40's.
The design of the Series 62 is something that will never go out of
style.
