For Sale: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in West End, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

For sale is my 1969 Mach1 restomod.  I purchased the vehicle about 8 years ago from its previous owner in Texas as a NOM Mach1. Over the last 7 years I have slowly professionally upgraded the vehicle into what it is today, an amazing handing, braking, and accelerating beast. I have been relentless in my pursuit of making this an amazing, fun, reliable, blast to drive. Upgrades include: Suspension, Ridetech Complete Coilover lvl 2 with front sway bar, about 6 years old with about 4,000 miles on it.  Brakes were redone 2 years ago with Wilwood 12.19” all around 6-piston up front and 4-piston in the rear and master cylinder.  Engine was recently pulled out and rebuilt last year professionally by Youngbloods Performance Automotive shop in Raleigh NC.  Current build includes: 351W (unknown year of block ’72 I believe) bored and stroked to 408 CI with an eagle rotating assembly.  Cam is a hydraulic roller competition cam dur- 282/289, lift- .513/.529, intake dur- exh 230/236, lob sep 110.  Heads are Dart 195cc. Intake in an Edelbrok Vic Jr. toped with Holley Terminator EFI system. New pro billet distributor and MSD EFI ignition. New road race oil pan. Transmission is tremec TKO 5 speed, transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago, brand new clutch recently installed with engine rebuild.  The engine is driven by a billet spec serpentine belt system ready for A/C.  Cars cooled by an electric fan/ aluminum radiator.   Exhaust is wrapped hooker long tube competition headers and 2.5” magnaflow exhaust.  Steering is rack & pinon made by unisteer.  New fuel tank and fuel pump installed to match the EFI.  The battery is an optima battery and has been relocated to the trunk. New Moser 4:11 rear end. Interior has been stripped, painted, dynamatted, new molded carpets and padding.  Seats and center console redone with TMI vinyl and micro suede inserts done in slightly updated fashion from stock, new seat padding installed. New external heater unit located under passenger dash (heats the car quick). New parts throughout interior to include door inserts, dash faces, rear inserts, and Dakota Digital gages.  Steering column is I-Did-it tilt steering column and wood steering wheel.  $3k JL audio stereo installed with boxed sub in trunk, kenwood head unit.  Rims are 17” chrome K/O replicas with brand new Nitto’s 235/45 in the front and Nexen 275/40 in the rear.  Headlights are upgraded with LED ring that can change 15 colors.  Rear brake lights are LED sequential.  I know I’m missing upgrades but I’ve done a lot.  Have all receipts and pictures of the entire engine rebuild. Paint is in decent shape but shows some bubbling in areas, chips, and general scratches.  I believe it was repainted black by the previous owner over 10 years ago.  Car currently has no AC but is ready for vintage AC to be installed.  The heater core located under the passengers side dash had a slow leak and rusted out the floor pan on that side of the vehicle.  The rust was cut out and patched with a steel plate, sealed, and painted when the interior was redone. The windows aren’t lined up completely so don’t make a good seal when the door is shut.  I haven’t done a full wiring harness and the vehicle had starting issues when turning the key so had the shop add dedicated wiring to the starter with a hidden push button.  Car starts and runs perfectly every time now.  The shop did a lot of wiring cleanup when doing the engine rebuild.  This car has never been raced or tracked but stomped a newer cayman S and brand new 5.0 from a roll on the street.  The engine should be making 500+ hp and tq but hasn’t been dyno’d. Mustang is kept in my garage and covered when I'm not using it.  I'm in the military and travel a lot so I don't get to enjoy it as much as I would like to.  Have title in hand. No trades and no low ball offers, I'm not desperate to sell.  I have invested wayyyyy too much time and $ into this car and know I can't get that back in the selling price but whomever buys this car is getting an amazing investment that they can just enjoy from day one or continue to upgrade as they like.  Thanks for looking and contact me with any questions.
