An extremely nice, matching numbers car with overdrive that underwent a ground-up rotisserie restoration in the late 90's. Driven very little since and purchased from a large, private car collection. Vendors involved in the restoration included Apple Hydraulics, Healy Surgeons, Lunati, Nisonger, etc. - all top names in the industry. Recently serviced with every item updated/serviced as necessary by Healy specialty shop. My current mechanic states that it is the nicest one he has seen in over 20 years. Reminiscent of the rally cars of the period with driving lights (correct brackets with tow openings and Lucas lights), vintage chronometers, etc. - all sourced in England. Can easily be converted to original bumpers if desired; mounting points have not been modified. Everything works perfectly; overdrive, gauges, lights (Lucas PL tripods), blinkers, horn, heater, etc. Great sounding free-flow exhaust system. Original factory hardcover owners handbook and factory shop manual. A few updates have been done for improved drive-ability including a spin-on oil filter, stainless steel brake lines, aluminum radiator and oil cooler. Perfect top and practically brand new side curtains. Also an incredibly restored (at great expense) original tool kit with every correct piece except for the case (a reproduction - impossible to find an original case). Originally purchased by a Naval officer in Europe, I have a loose-leaf book filled with restoration photos and a 4-page typewritten history of the car by previous owners. Includes a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate attesting to the originality of all numbers and paint colors.
