Vehicle Description
The 1969 Ford Mustang is one of the baddest-looking street machines
of all time. But finding one upgraded to a Boss 302 style and a 415
horsepower crate motor makes for a seriously awesome machine. And
when the investments also give you desirable upgrades like a
five-speed, an A/C interior, slick paint, and more, this becomes
the kind of all-around driver's classic that many look for but few
ever get to take home.
We know you love the color of this coupe. Grabber Orange is named
because it can grab attention from blocks away. But what you'll
really love is that this 1969-correct color is a very professional
application done in 2019. So the paint has a terrific clearcoat
luster that loves to glow in the sunlight. Proper panel fitment and
the mirror-like chrome bumpers are all a reminder about quality
investment and care. The '69 front end with four headlights and
blackout grille kicks off the aggressive dark side. It's continued
on the chin spoiler and blackout hood with hood pins. The side C
stripe zooms down the side and tapes off like it was formed by this
coupe's speed. At the rear end is the blackout rear panel and
full-length spoiler. And we especially love how the louvered window
shows off the fastback profile. It's a total package that's as
attractive as it is intimidating.
All the black accents on the outside get you ready for the full
black presentation inside. The low mileage is believed to be all
that is on this car since the full restoration was completed, and
you can really see the little use on the inside. There is an
overall freshens from a solid investment. It's a very detailed
style right down to the little things like the working courtesy
lights and classic pattern on the seats. There are also
well-integrated upgrades like a retro-style AM/FM stereo, an
armrest center console, cup holders, and cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning. You can also instantly tell this was built for
driving. It has the right classic features like the high-back
bucket seats, a grippy dual-spoke steering wheel, and clear factory
gauges. These are joined by worthwhile upgrades like the tach and
Hurst shifter.
The engine bay is a cool presentation. After all, there was nothing
sleeper-style about the hot 302 cubic-inch V8 that came in the Boss
302. But while this tribute tries to look correct, it's really a
347 stroker motor from BluePrint engines. It's a fresh addition as
part of the restoration, and it has a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and headers. And the dyno
sheet tells us this one is making 415 horsepower! You get to take
proper control over this enhanced power thanks to the T5 five-speed
manual transmission (an over $3k investment installed only a few
months ago.) Plus, with power steering, power brakes w/discs up
front, and Cooper Cobra tires and classic Mag 500 wheels make this
powerful pony car an overall solid driving package.
The sale also comes with build receipts and a dyno sheet. This is a
desirable, powerful, and stunning Boss 302 tribute. So if you love
driving your classic, you already know this is the icon that's done
right. Call today!!!
