Vehicle Description
1947 International Harvester KB1 Pickup
Why This Vehicle is Special
The International K and KB series are trucks that were produced by
International Harvester, the first being the K introduced in mid
1940. They are best known for their durability, prewar design in a
postwar era, and low price.
We have a very rare and desirable frame-off restored 1947
International Harvester KB1 pickup truck here at Skyway
Classics.
Mechanical
Our has the correctly painted and restored 214 cubic inch Flathead
6 Cylinder engine with all the stock engine parts on it like the
black air cleaner assembly, factory exhaust manifolds, heads, carb,
ignition system just like it came with from the factory.
It sits in a very nice painted, clean, and detailed engine
compartment and is backed by a 3-Speed Manual Transmission, 12-Bolt
Rear End w/Highway Gears, and rides on Steel Painted Wheels w/New
Caps and Trim Rings with Radial Porter White Wall tires.
It has Manual Steering and Brakes and the engine and transmission
was rebuilt by the previous owner when the truck was restored about
three years ago, so it can cruise reliably.
Interior
The interior looks just as great as the engine and the body and has
new tan tweed bench seat, tan painted dash with all the correct
stock looking white faced gauges, matching tan door panels, black
rubber floor mat, black seat belts, and the factory black steering
wheel too.
Exterior
The restored two-tone tan/dark brown editor paint flows well over
the rounded fenders and blends in well with the ornate stainless
grill, large chrome headlights and taillights, Roll Out Windshield,
emblems, and the painted bed with its Spray-In Liner with Rubber
Mat.

The very rare and desirable frame-off restored 1947 International
Harvester KB1 pickup truck we have here at Skyway Classics is a
real gem and will be the talk of any car cruise or show you drive
it to.
