This “Red Rocket” is an all around astounding car! In 2016, the car received a complete windows out repaint in the factory matching Guards Red color. The paint is in superb shape all around, and all the rubber moldings and seals were replaced.
The Black Leather interior is excellent, and the car certainly displays signs of being well taken care of! All the gauges and electronics work, including the sunroof and the AC which blows cold.
This 993 starts, runs, and drives perfectly. The power is all there! The clutch take-up is slip free, and the shifting action is smooth and continuous. There is no steering play and the car tracks perfectly straight. Braking is solid and the car stops on demand. The factory OEM wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The car comes with a great deal of service records, going all the way back to the first oil change. All maintenance has been done according to Porsche recommendations. In addition, at 99K miles, the car received a new clutch. In the last 5K miles, the car received all new axle boots, both differentials were serviced, all filters were replaced, and the car thoroughly inspected by mechanics at European Autohaus. The car has a clean bill of health.
