Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette,
an attractive driver finished in the desirable (and correct to the
trim tag) shade of Bridgehampton Blue. Ordered with the base 270 hp
350 ci V8, this is a well-optioned car with automatic transmission,
power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, air conditioning
and leather seat upholstery. Professionally repainted a few years
ago under present ownership in the original color to a very nice
standard. Fiberglass body is in good condition with no known damage
or stress cracks. Bumpers and trim appear original with only light
patina (there is some fading on the left rear half bumper but
chrome is otherwise very good). Aftermarket sidepipes look and
sound great (and thanks to the fiberglass covers, they don't burn
your calves if you accidentally contact them while exiting the
car).
Interior is mostly original; leather seats show light patina but
remain soft (and are by no means shabby). Lower dash, console and
door panels have been re-dyed. Lights and gauges are working as
they should but the fiber optic indicators are inop. A/C is still
running R12 and was reportedly blowing cold within the last two
years (system is completely intact, controls and blower are
working, but it's no longer blowing cold).
Under the hood is a non-matching 350 cubic inch V8 mated to a
Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission. Starts easily, runs well, and
sounds great (especially under power) thanks to the side pipes. For
