This Trans AM is 1 of 5700 Pace Cars models built by Pontiac. It was sold New at at Jim Simmons Pontiac in Concord, NC. The MSRP was $11,803.52. That was a lot of money for a car in 1980 by any measure. These are some of the best looking Trans AM's of the late 2nd Gens. This one is nicely documented too. Reproduction Window Sticker and PHS are included. They were all built loaded with options. This example has 10 added cost options shown on the factory invoice. They also included the WS6 handling package and the unique 15x8 Turbo style wheels. 4 wheel disc brakes, heavy duty anti-sway bars and a high performance steering system. These were the first Turbo Powered cars Pontiac Built. They were an industry leader. They are true road cars and if you have never experienced driving one, you are missing out. The lighter weight engine made for a more balanced car and the handling was superb. They are really enjoyable to drive. This example is in way above average condition. It has been recently repainted in a Base Clear and it shows very well. The decals are New. Interior is virtually like new. All options work as they should. A recent full tune-up including fluids, plugs, wires, cap and rotor have this TA running crisp. Listing to the video shows this Turbo Trans AM is full of Pontiac Excitement.
