For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet El Camino in Mesa, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This 1968 Chevrolet El Camino has an aggressive color and an aggressive fuel-injected small block. But everything from the custom/comfy A/C interior to the four-wheel disc brakes lets you know that the investments here go beyond intimidation and make for a terrific all-around driving classic.

Hugger Orange is an aggressive Chevy color that we always love to see. Since it's a modern application, this one takes a commanding color and gives it a luster that loves to shine. The aggressive nature even gets better with the addition of the large cowl hood. And there's a nice contrast with the tinted windows and liner paint in the bed. Even the brightwork contributes to the intimidation factor. Because while you may like the look of the bumpers and the grille, it's really the shine of the 18-inch Vision wheels (and those red calipers peeking out from behind them) that captivate your attention.

The interior gives you more of that speedy style, but now it also adds sophistication. For example, the saddle tan color always gives us a premium impression, especially when its fundamentals have been freshly replaced only about a year ago. This includes the bucket seats which have the kind of bolstering to hug your body as you'd find in a modern sports car. You have modern comfort with an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth, upgraded speakers, a center console, and cold-blowing air conditioning. You'll love slipping behind the Grant GT sports steering wheel, and the large column-mounted tach and auxiliary gauge trio get you ready for something powerful. Of course, the Sniper EFI control screen on the center console is the largest indication that you're going to like what's under the hood.

The dark inner walls of the engine bay funnel all your attention to the small block in the middle. This 350 cubic-inch V8 has been built right with a bored .040 over kit, a mild cam, aluminum heads, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and long tube headers. It's topped off with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system that allows you to dial in added power and consistency. You also have good supporting components, like a serpentine belt system and an aluminum radiator electric fan. The V8 fires up eagerly, and the cam really helps make a nice rumble out of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic is a stout unit that shifts cleanly, and so it provides a good balance of power and all-around driving appeal. The same goes for the power steering, rear sway bar, modern ZR-rated tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors.

This El Camino has been given the right investment for power, comfort, and style. So if you want it all, all you have to do is be the first to grab this deal. Call today!!!
