the product of a well preformed restoration. The paint glistens and
all the body panels are straight and solid. This 69 Camaro has a
very clean undercarriage with new
undercoating from the restoration. Notice all lines were removed
before undercoating to keep from over-spraying coating onto fuel
and brake lines. The attention to detail is what really sells this
69.
The Camaro is straight, it's clean, and the interior looks brand
new like it was bought today but with all the original bits and
pieces from 1969.
This 69 Camaro's interior however is better than it ever came from
factory. It has all the right factory looks but is now equipped
with a vintage air system and compressor and a retro sound
stereo
(allowing FM/Bluetooth use with factory looks). This also
translates to driver feel and feedback it retains its stock looks
but behind the factory slotted mag wheels there are four wheel
power disc brakes. When you turn the wheel it feels light, that's
because there is a power steering unit making this car much more
drivable than it was originally. Even the headlights from factory
come with
vacuum systems however during the restoration they were switched
for an electronic one that won't leave the Camaro winking when the
hidden headlights are in use. Even the wood grain has been replaced
with higher quality pieces.
Mechanically the Camaro is sound and starts up no problem, with its
late model GM distributor it never misses a beat and hums a great
tune through the dual exhaust. This is all powered by a 350 cubic
inch V-8. This is an excellent example of a 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro and could be driven everyday thanks to its fantastic
restro-modding.
