For Sale: 1970 Chevrolet C10 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

Chevrolet's lovable C10 is one of those timeless designs that looks good no matter how it's built. Stock... Resto-modded... Lifted... Street rodded... Whatever... The clean lines and balanced stance on these cherished classics create an all-American swagger that's universally admired. That means, if you're looking to ride in style, you really can't go wrong with 'Lasting Chevy Value'. Fully restored and professionally sorted, this picturesque pickup is a first rate cruiser that's ready for years of show and miles of go. And if you're looking for a tasteful classic that wraps ornate, retro chic aesthetics around a modern drivetrain, it's a dream haul!

SYNERGY OF STYLE

When it comes to collector cars, few vehicles have aged better than late '60s and early '70s Chevrolets. And that goes double for something as undeniably immutable as a storied Action Line pickup. This striking C10 is a solid road warrior that's been subjected to a detailed, ground-up restoration. The truck's paint is delightfully simple, with glossy clear sealing a vivid coat of metallic green base. And tasteful custom pinstripes highlights a roster of choice upgrades. Those upgrades begin with a custom bumper, which traces a massaged valence under a billet grille that's finished with modern, dual-mode headlights and a polished surround. At the edges of that grille, a sleek profile floats a subtle hot rod mirror above shaved doors, filled markers and deleted emblems. That mirror reflects a tinted greenhouse, which slides one-piece side glass behind a smoothed cowl. A clean bed centers a smoothed floor between filled stake pockets. And at the back of the truck, factory taillights frame a custom roll pan under a welded, smoothed and fully integrated tailgate.

POWER FOR MILES

Enact this Chevy's billet Eddie Motorsports hood supports and you'll find an even six liters of proven GM small block that spins smooth horsepower into miles of open-road reliability! At the front of that iron mill, a remote filter funnels wind into a custom tube, which fronts a factory GM throttle body. A fabricated intake sends a finely tuned mixture of fuel and air into sturdy 317 heads, which float fabricated valve covers under an aluminum oil cap. Those stock, aluminum heads cap a stock, factory-spec rotating assembly. A fluid serpentine drive spins modern power steering opposite modern air conditioning and a polished Powermaster alternator. Factory coils fire sleeved MSD Super Conductor plug wires, which split coated Doug Thorley headers. A big aluminum radiator twins big electric puller fans between polished tubes, a polished support and a polished expansion tank. Details like a polished closeout, a polished brake booster and a polished hood latch ensure first-class presentation. And the body-matched mill rides in a fully smoothed and methodically painted engine bay.

OPTIMIZED FOR ENJOYMENT

Bottom-side, a smooth 4L80E 4-speed twists torque to a dressed and 12-bolt that's finished with fun, 3.73 gears. That proven powertrain pushes a C-notched frame that's been stacked on lowering blocks, a big sway bar and a full set of AccuAir self-leveling air bags. Modern power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops come courtesy of four power-assisted calipers. The aforementioned headers feed rowdy MagnaFlow mufflers. A relocated fuel tank rides next to a relocated battery. And at the edges of the floor, 20-inch Raceline blades spin 275/40 Sunitrac radials.

CRADLE OF COMFORT

Much nicer than simple factory fodder, this Chevy's Saddle leather cockpit serves as a warm contrast to an otherwise extrinsic demeanor. An Ostrich-tinged bench frames sturdy lap belts between custom side panels that hide power-operated windows behind billet handles. A stylish dash reflects bright silver pigment behind clean AutoMeter telemetry, customized Vintage Air climate control and Bluetooth-capable Pioneer audio. A snazzy billet mirror reflects custom visors opposite premium carpet. And the driver spins a billet, bowtie-branded steering wheel around a modern, tilting column.

Mixing reliable motivation with easy streetability, this Chevy is one cool classic! Fully sorted and ready to roll, all the truck needs is a proud new owner to cruise it to the show. Sound like a job you can handle? Call, click or visit http://www.RKMotors.com and sign on the dotted line!
