Vehicle Description
This 1930 Ford Model A Pickup is a distinct and detailed classic.
It has a full period-correct feeling that makes a Sunday drive feel
like going back in time.
The black paint represents its era nicely with an aged-in style
that will make some people think you have a nearly 90-year survivor
without ever asking. And the full look is complete with the roof
and windshield overhang done in vinyl. But the real standout comes
from the wooden bed rails that also match the wood on the bed
floor. While the pickup was one of the most utilitarian of the
Model As, it did come with the fender-mounted spare wire wheel.
This was usually reserved for the Deluxe models, but you can see
them so distinctly here finished in a proper yellow. This is a
detailed classic where you'll spot pretty much every accessory
around. It includes the side wind wings, side luggage carrier,
headlight eyelids, side spotlight, yellow driving lights, side step
plates, MotoMeter style radiator cap. It's nothing overdone or out
of place for the era, and so it just adds to the cruising
charm.
The interiors of these pickups are basic, and so you'll also notice
when something is out of place. That's why it's nice to see later
investments in the seat, headliner, rubble floor mat, gauges, and
more. These trucks were slightly more expensive than Ford's
roadster pickups, and that meant proper weather sealing. Still,
ventilation is a breeze with roll-down windows and a pop-out
windshield. So it's still easy to get comfortable on your favorite
country drive.
Under the hood is the correct-style 201 cubic-inch four-cylinder
engine. Just like the exterior, you have some fun accessories,
including the classic oiler mounted on the firewall. It runs with
the robust Ford feeling, the three-speed manual transmission shifts
as it should, and the four-wheel mechanical brakes are surprisingly
effective given the Model A's light weight.
This is a true classic style with a true classic feeling. So if
you're looking for a truly vintage pickup, you need to call
