1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, a very good original car with numbers matching L79 327/350 HP (6126288 FO612HT pad #’2) and matching numbers transmission (6S126288), casting #3858174, VIN ending in 6288, block manufacture date F16 (June 1/66), 4-speed, two tops, Goldlines, correct wheels and hubcaps, sidepipes, correct Milano Maroon with correct black leather interior. Trim tag reads K13 build (July 13), style (66 467), trim (STD), Body (S-8430) and paint (988AA). Both tops including white soft top and rare Milano Maroon hardtop in good shape. A very rare find of an unmolested car. Engine and front end rebuilt and excellent history as title history from Texas. Body panel fit and alignment excellent. Paint in excellent condition. Interior excellent and mostly original with exception of seat covers. Dash lenses replaced and crystal clear. Undercarriage consistent with a car that is original and has not been undercoated or framed off. Previous owner stated engine was rebuilt and car is mechanically sound and road ready. Headlight doors, tachometer, speedometer, gauges and lights work great. Original radio works but volume stays low and clock seems to operate only when driving. Vent windows and side windows operate smoothly and all chrome is in good shape. Spare tire tub in place and decent. This midyear can be driven anywhere.
