Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Tribute has the bold first
impression you want on a muscle car. Then you check out the awesome
big block, four-on-the-floor, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc
brakes, and custom/comfy air-conditioned interior. The full package
makes for an icon that goes beyond your expectations.
This full build only has about 80 miles on it. That's all! So while
the Garnet Red paint is a 1969-correct color, the gloss it radiates
lets you know it's a fresh and professional application. In fact,
the only thing to shine brighter is the set of chrome bumpers. You
can tell there was extra care taken in the restoration to give you
straight body panels and good gaps. It means the light rolls evenly
across the car, and that gives you extra pride every time you take
it out for a sunny Sunday drive. Of course, you like this one for
more than just its luster. It's a terrific aggressor with the black
racing stripes, blackout grille, dual power dome hood, and
mag-style wheels of the Super Sport. And while this coupe gives a
pure vintage first impression, little details like the upgraded
headlights clue you in on more upgrades to come.
Black interiors always look awesome against red exteriors, but this
one goes the extra mile where you can tell there was a big
investment to have this looking fresh and custom. For example, you
could always get bucket seats in a '69 Chevelle, but these are a
fresh addition that give you so much better bolstering and comfort.
And we love how the red stitching matches the dash and exterior.
The same goes for the custom rear seats and custom door panels. All
the details here are thoughtfully integrated, like the retro-style
AM/FM digital tuner, USB port, and the Vintage Air A/C controls.
And a car like this was built to be an awesome driver, that's why
you have the classic SS steering wheel now on a tilt column, a
Dakota Digital gauge package upgrade, and a Muncie shifter in the
center console.
The engine bay is another reminder of how few miles are on this
build. It's an ultra-clean setup with a smooth color-matched
firewall, slick black fender walls, and plenty of bright components
like the polished air cleaner, cast valve covers, upgraded
brackets, billet hood hinges, and much more. At the center is a 396
cubic-inch big block V8. It has been upgraded for added muscle with
a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock polished intake, and
Hedman headers feeding the X-pipe dual exhaust. You are in complete
control of this big block power and its rumbling soundtrack thanks
to the four-speed manual transmission. This feeds a stout Moser
12-bolt rear end. In fact, take some extra time to look underneath
this coupe. You'll spot a UMI tubular A-arm front setup and a UMI
rear tubular control arms w/sway bar. Power steering, wide BF
Goodrich T/As, and upgraded Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes
make for an awesome muscle car driver.
Rarely do you get to find an iconic hardtop that has the upgrades
you want already freshly added. So don't miss out, call today!
