Very dry and rustfree California/Arizona car. I don't think there's one out there with a better body than this Mercedes.
We were told that the car had the fuel injection rebuilt 3-4 years ago but it was not driven after that, and the car got a new canvas convertible top also. There's a hard top in very good condition.
The paint is nice but not perfect, the interior is very nice except for a small hole in the cover on the driver seat bottom, se picture. Not big and not very noticeable.
There's also a dry spot on the very back of the interior compartment where the sun burns through the rear window, se pictures.
Since buying the Mercedes we have replaced the fuel tank since the car sat unused for a few years, replaced the fuel pump and fuel injection hoses, installed 8 new fuel injection nozzles.
Engine tune up with new spark plugs, plug wires etc.
Very nice chrome wheels and good tires.
The body is so dry and rust free it is a 9 or 10 on a scale from 1 to 10, the rest is nice to very nice but not perfect.
I'd say the car is way above the average Mercedes 450 SL without being priced high.
