Collectible Motor Car of Atlanta is proud to offer this spectacular
1959 Chevrolet Apache Fleetside Pickup Truck. Introduced in March
of 1955, Chevrolet's new 'Task Force' series was quite a departure
from their existing line of pickup trucks. Smooth, rounded
sheet-metal replaced the old pontoon-style fenders, and large,
wrap-around windshield glass offered better visibility and gave a
more contemporary look. Electrical systems, upgraded from 6 to 12
volts, were one of many improvements on the new series of trucks.
This 1959 Apache was the last year of the Task Force line. This
super-clean long bed is finished in gorgeous bright Matador Red
with White Top and White Trim complimented with Black and White
interior. The bed-wood is in proper form with stainless trim.
Chrome grill and bumpers are fantastic, giving this collector that
true vintage look. Under the hood lies the infamous 235 inline
6-cylinder engine topped with twin single carbs sitting on an
Offenhauser intake. Keeping things cool sits an upgraded aluminum
radiator. The desirable 4-speed floor shift manual gearbox is
smooth shifting through the gears. Modern audio completes the
experience but maintains its original vintage appearance. Values on
these rare Chevy trucks are rapidly increasing and finding one in
original style is not one you want to miss. Inquire today.
