For Sale: 1972 Chevrolet C10 in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is a gorgeous, show quality truck with desirable features including factory air conditioning.

EXTERIOR: Gorgeous color! The body and paint is show quality, the metal is laser beam straight front to back, top to bottom. All the panels fit square and flush. I don't see any rust or damage. Beautiful red metallic paint is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished smooth like glass. If you look hard enough you'll find only a couple minor imperfections. Upfront it has a custom grill, the bumper is rechromed. The deluxe moldings down the sides have been replaced. The door handles, antenna and mirrors are new. The stainless moldings around the windows are straight and polished. The trim on the tailgate is replaced, new back bumper. The glass is crystal clear. The rear window has the optional slider. The window seals and weatherstrips are new. Door jambs are just as slick as the outside. It has a premium Diamondback tonneau lid made out of polished diamond plate. It opens from the front or back. It locks and is waterproof. Good looking highly polished 17 inch aluminum Pacer wheels with Good Year tires that look new.

INTERIOR: The cab was gutted, the metal was painted the same beautiful red metallic as the outside. The carpet was replaced. There's a custom made center console that has the stereo and 2 cup holders. In front of me the chromr instrument bezel is new. The ashtray and glovebox are chromed. New a/c vents, new heater control panel. New reproduction steering wheel with a tachometer mounted on the column. New cushions in the seat. Reproduction upholstery and new matching door panels. Window cranks and handles have been replaced. It has the deluxe headliner, new visors and mirror. The stereo is a modern Pioneer with 6 infinity speakers. The glovebox liner is new and it has the pouch with the owner's manual.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality. It has a rebuilt 350 motor with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke and an HEI Ignition system. Features include a restored factory air conditioning that has been updated to R134 freon. It also has power steering and power brakes. It is obvious the engine compartment was completely apart. The engine bay is all glass black, the firewall and the jamb is painted the same color as the outside. Every component is clean, wires are run neatly, the squirters are hooked up, the shroud is proper. It's dressed up with a little chrome too.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed is rock solid and straight. It's been completely sprayed with a durable bedliner that has been color matched to the truck.

UNDERSIDE: The front end has been completely rebuilt- springs, bushings, ball joints, center link, pitman arm, tie rod ends etc. All the components are clean too. It has H.D. gas shocks all around. Rear springs look new. Brakes were rebuilt, disc in front, e-brake is hooked up. New dual exhaust with glass pack style mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is fresh. Fuel pump, starter and chrome flywheel cover look new. The Turbo 350 automatic looks fresh. Under this truck is very clean. The floors are dry metal, you could remove any bolt with a wrench.

Ready for show and go. The quality really impressed me top to bottom, actually one our nicest vehicles. It's functional too. Easy to drive automatic with power steering and brakes. Not to mention air conditioning. The bed is fully usable with the bedliner and tonneau cover. The question is "why not buy it"?
