1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe. This is the most unmolested, low mile,
rust free 1964 1/2 Mustang you will ever see! It has 26,320
original miles. ALL the body panels and the front aprons are all
original. The doors on this Mustang close better than my 1963
Imperial!!.....perfectly! The car has never been apart. Please look
at all of the inside trunk pictures and the pictures underneath the
rear seat....They all retain the original seam sealer and sound
deadening material. The undercarriage is totally rust free! The
original drain plugs are still present in the trunk floor and
undercarriage! This Mustang was built July 27th, 1964 in the San
Jose plant. It was #2684 to come off the assembly line! This two
owner car spent most of its life in Nevada until coming to Indiana
in 2010. The current owners have only put less than 1,000 miles on
it since 2010! The original 260 cu. in V8 still runs strong with
the only upgrade being a 4bbl aluminum intake and Edelbrock
carburetor. It also has a Mallory dual point distributor too! The
chrome and trim are in excellent condition. The factory tinted
glass is excellent as well. The interior is all original. The
passenger top seat has had a little stitch repair. The top of the
dash is sun faded with one small crack. The windows roll up
beautifully with no drag. All the exterior and interior lights
work. It has a aftermarket radio/cassette player that works. The
horn relay is picking up, but no sound on the horns. I will try and
get that working. The Air Conditioning blows nice and cold. It has
power steering and manual brakes with all work great. The tires are
radials and are like new. The dual exhaust is still very solid and
sounds great. I just can't say enough about this little Mustang.
Usually, they're all cut up, doors never close right, gaps aren't
right...etc... This little gem is perfect just the way it is or
would make a great canvas to customize it any way you want.
