Vehicle Description
This 1986 Jeep CJ7 has a bold look of a trail-tray outdoor machine,
but the decal on the hood also doesn't lie. So beneath all the
extra-duty 4x4 gear, is the power of a Chevrolet V8. And so no
matter if you like the cool feeling of the A/C or the hot sound of
the rumbling exhaust, you know you've found an all-around awesome
custom Jeep.
This CJ already has a striking first impression. The gray paint has
a nice metallic element that likes to radiate in the sunshine. It's
also the kind of color that's perfect to find the unfiltered
sunlight you'll find deep in the wilderness because the color also
does a good job of hiding the kind of scratches that come from
enjoying Mother Nature. The gray also goes well with the full dark
side accents. It includes the blackout of the Renegade-style fender
flares, steel side rock sliders, hood-mounted jack, and upgraded
rear bumper with trailer hitch and swing-way mount for the
full-size spare. This one put a particularly dark and rugged face
forward with the black steel front bumper with push guard with
space for a Smittybilt Winch/ Not only do you have upgraded lights
in the bumper, but also there are LEDs for headlights and on the
top rack - so you know this one can turn night into day out on the
trail. We love the bold touches of red everywhere from the ring
shackles to the pinstriping on the hood and headlights. It all
makes for a total package that's stylish, means, and absolutely
versatile.
Like a good Jeep, you have options for how much you want to be
buttoned up. The sale comes with a full soft top, bikini top, soft
doors, and hard doors. An unrestored hardtop can also be made
available with the sale if so desired. No matter how you choose to
drive this CJ, it is going to provide the proper off-road read
experience. The Corbeau front buckets have the right bolstering to
keep you firmly planted. There's liner paint surrounding the inner
tub, rugged floor mats, and a proper roll bar. This one also goes
the extra mile to give you added comfort with features like an
AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth, marine-grade speakers, a tilt steering
column, and a lockbox armrest center console. Plus, this is one of
the few Jeeps where there's cold-blowing air conditioning to keep
you feeling cool even when open to the world.
For versatile power and limitless upgrade-ability, it's hard to
beat the Chevy 350 small block V8. And this motor was borrowed from
a C4 Corvette. So the Powered by Corvette boasting on the hood is
all true. This V8 has even been enhanced with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock finned valve covers, and an
aluminum radiator to help keep it running cool. The headers add
power as they also give those side pipes a hint of muscle car
growl. CJ7s are the off-road kings, this continues that tradition
with a two-speed transfer 4x4 case, tall ground clearance, and
15-inch Ultra wheel that can hold the meaty BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain
RM3 tires. But even when you're just on a milk run, features like a
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc
brakes are always handy.
Style and substance come together for one of the most distinct
Jeeps out there. Don't miss this V8 CJ. Call now!
