Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS makes all the right first impressions
for an instantly attractive classic. So with its sleek appearance,
Houndstooth interior, correct V8 power, and the control of
four-on-the-floor, you know you're looking at something quite
special.
The trim tag tells us that this coupe was born in Cortez Silver.
It's one of the most desirable colors today, and it has been given
a solid investment to really make a nice first impression. There's
a metallic element that lets this one radiate in the sunshine. The
shine works with super straight bodywork to offer a combination
that truly stands out on arguably the most iconic body style for
the Camaro. The trim tag tells us this was born an X11 car, and all
the right signs point to a factory Super Sport. So we are confident
(but not 100%) that this is a genuine SS. And the SS details have
also been restored to both a correct and quality standard. It
starts with the aggressive and elegant black D90 "hockey stick"
stripe package. The aggression is continued on the super-scoop cowl
hood, blackout grille, deep chin spoiler, and full-width rear
spoiler. The front bumper and some of the trim have been
color-matched to have a smoother look, but that doesn't erase an
image of a true '60s machine. There's still proper brightwork from
the rear bumper and inch rally wheels.
The black vinyl interior looks great with all the black accents on
the outside. The carpeting, dash, door panels, and headliner all
have a pristine look from investment. And there's something truly
iconic about having deluxe houndstooth inserts in the seats. So
you'll be happy to leave the windows rolled down and show the full
package off to the world. But as show-worthy as the interior is,
its true appeal lies in the driver-oriented features. Your left
hand will love the grip of the Chevy classic three-spoke sports
steering wheel, and your right one will never want to leave the
Hurst floor shifter.
The engine bay takes extra time to look correct. That's why you not
only have a 1969-correct block for the 350 cubic-inch V8, but also
there are cool details. This includes the correct decals and a
gasket to seal the air grabber to the cowl induction hood. The
fresh air lets the V8 inhale deeply into the Quadrajet four-barrel
carburetor. And the dual exhaust will make the kind of sweet tune
you'll love. You have complete control over this motor with the
smooth-shifting four-speed manual transmission. This feeds a strong
12-bolt rear with versatile 3.73 gears. You also have great driving
features, like power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide
Cooper Cobra tires.
This Camaro SS has an award-worthy style inside and out. And
nothing beats the experience of a strong V8 matched with a
four-speed. That's why we know it's a hot deal that will be leaving
us soon. Call today!!!
