down to bare metal, re-smoothed the panels, and then the
factory-correct Light Ivory was re-applied. That kind of investment
means you still have a high-quality look today. The details
reinforce this feeling, too. There's a golden full-length pinstripe
that adds elegance and shows off the strangeness of the sheet
metal. And the iconic color-matched wheel covers remind you that
this is part of a line of great classic Mercedes-Benzs. Capping off

While having two roof options makes this car ideal, we all know
these SLs are best when topless. So you want a well-matched color

invest to restore all of the factory features. But this continues
to have the right fundamentals in everything from the working

Bosch fuel injection. This car has a long and detailed maintenance
file. It shows a history of proper care on what is believed to be
the original powertrain. And the proof of watchfulness is in the
way this one still eagerly fires up and runs. This generation SL
was terrific and being the ideal balance of comfort and sport. It
includes power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and
