This classic is being offered by Memory Lane Classic Car Museum in
Hiwassee, GA. It is one on over 200 other stellar examples of
automotive history currently being presented to refresh the
inventory of the museum. Please visit SelectClasssicCars.com to
review others being offered. This 1969 Torino GT "Richard Petty"
Edition is finished in Petty Blue over Blue Vinyl interior. An
extremely rare and special car, it is one of only five ever
produced. In 1969, Ford held a Charlotte 600 special sweepstakes in
which the winner would receive one of these 428ci Cobra Jet Torinos
, delivered to their doorstep by Richard Petty himself. 111 of
these Torinos were built, but only five were optioned with the
428ci Cobra Jet V8, and this car is one of those five. Options from
the factory include the matching numbers 428 cobra jet V8 and
column shift C-6 automatic transmission, 3:25 conventional rear
axle, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, and whitewall tires.
Other features include the Cobra Jet hood scoop, hood pins, front
and rear bench seat, dual exhaust system and Ford floor mats.
Included with the car is the original build sheet and Deluxe Marti
Report. Seller encourages and welcomed personal inspections. As is
so often the case, no inspectors opinion can adequately capture the
true essence and reality of a car, it's your money - see it
yourself. Shipping and financing is available to qualified buyers.
