Vehicle Description
1964 Chevy II Nova. My goal was to sell this Nova as a running
driving car but I didn't quite make it that far. What it needs to
run and drive: Shifter (A brand new in the box B&M Unimatic
shifter is included) Running power to the the HEI distributor
Wiring the starter Throttle linkage or cable Battery Exhaust
Alignment Wire electric fan (I have a relay kit included) put the
bumpers back on (I have both the front and rear) Highlights: Low
rust (Some in the quarters but no holes) Some of the straightest,
cleanest floors I have seen on a classic car SBC 350 seems to be in
great shape. I took the intake off and pulled the lifters to
re-lube. The lifters had virtually no wear, I was astounded how
good of condition they were in. Turning the motor over is easy and
consistent and it makes good compression. Inside of motor is very
clean. I have pictures that I can show if interested. Turbo 350
transmission. I pulled the pan and everything seemed very clean
inside. I changed the filter and gasket while I was in there. I
have pictures if interested. Rebuilt driveshaft All new front
suspension I have new headlight besels included Lowlights Previous
owner claims a deer ran into the left quarter panel while they were
in a parking lot. They tried to fix it themselves but did a poor
job. I believe the panel can be salvaged but it is what it is. (See
picture) Steering box has play. I refilled the box with 00 grade
grease and adjusted the worm gear tension but it still has play
Needs tires Front grill is in so-so shape. Crack in front
windshield previous owner or somebody else cut the door panels (I
have no idea why). So it will need door panels. Luckily they are
pretty inexpensive new. Needs new carpet, and the seats
re-upholstered 4'X4' square hole cut in transmission tunnel by
previous owner for shifter. The hole doesn't need to be nearly that
large. Can easily be patched as part of putting shifter in and
replacing carpet.
