A cool/coordinated paint package, upgraded V8, and the control of a
five-speed make this 1966 Ford Mustang Restomod quite a distinct
and desirable machine. So check out all these upgrades and more on
your new favorite driving classic.
The paint on this car is meant to immediately attract attention.
It's a modern clearcoat application with a metallic element that
loves to radiate in the sunshine. The dual black racing stripes
were painted on top to look stylish against the silver while also
adding some speedy flair. This dark side attitude is continued on
the grille and 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels for pure
intimidation. More of the performance feeling comes through on the
upgrade to the GT-style dual exhaust mounted through the rear
valance. And while all this contributes to an awesome look, the
fundamentals are also great. The trim is bright, the doors shut
solid, the weather-stripping is pliable, and the bumpers have
terrific shine.
The full black interior looks great against the silver and black
exterior. The deep color on the bucket seats, door panels,
carpeting, and dash give this a quality feel. You also have good
cruising features like an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth.
There are even beginning provisions for air conditioning (some
major components are there, but it will need more work and
servicing.) And you have a solid driving setup with front bucket
seats and a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel. And that SunPro tach
goes particularly well with the upgraded floor shifter.
Under the hood is another great investment. It's a 302 cubic-inch
V8 from the Fox-body era. It has a nice look with the brightly
polished Mustang valve covers, air grabber, and fittings. It's also
enhanced for power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. You'll even
spot good supporting components, like newer plug wires, a
serpentine belt setup, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan.
It's a strong power package, and the upgrade to a five-speed manual
transmission gives you better control over it all. There's also
power steering, front disc brakes, and modern sport tires to keep
this feeling solid on the road.
Power and poise come together on this upgraded pony car. Don't miss
your chance at this coupe, call today!
